Cherry Log, GA 30536
The orchard & vineyard
Cherry Log Orchards LLC is a working planting in Cherry Log, Georgia — the same 30536 ZIP as Ellijay, a few miles of Highway 515, and a long tradition of apples, grapes, and mountain-country fruit. We open to the public in Fall 2029. Until then this site is a story, a planting list, and a map pin. Retail happens at the farm stand, in person.
The physical gate is at 5468 Highway 515 S, Ellijay, GA 30536. Come looking for Cherry Log, not a shopping-center orchard. Use Highway 515 S for directions.

What we planted
The first catalog is the same stock we put in the ground: five apple cultivars on semi-dwarf rootstocks (Gibson Gold on M-106, Granny Smith on B118, Honeycrisp and Red Delicious on B-118, Mutsu on M-111), Fredonia and Concord grapevines, Apache blackberry and Fall Gold raspberry, Black Tartarian cherry, Karla Rose nectarine, Elberta, Encore, and Galaxy peaches, Santa Rosa plum, Spring Satin plumcot, and 20th Century and Bartlett pears.
Fresh fruit will be offered in season. Plants and trees will be offered as container stock when we have extra. Neither is an online store. If you have seen a wholesale nursery invoice, those numbers are not stand prices and will never appear here.
Carvers Creek
Beside the fruit, Cherry Log is also home to Carvers Creek — chainsaw carvings by Michael Duke. Finished and in-progress pieces are posted on CarversLog.com, a makers marketplace for public art, selling work, and finding carvers. See the carvings page for live listings and his maker portfolio — we will not invent sculptures or pass off stock wood photos as his.
The road to Fall 2029
Trees take a season. Vines take a season. We would rather tell you the honest date than pretend the gate is open. Send a note to mike@CherryLogOrchards.com, or get directions so you can find us when the first real harvest is in the bins.
